In the divine realm of Olodumare there is no sun, moon or fire to illumine anything. Olodumare is light and the source and origin of all lights. The light emanating from his countenance (being) fills and illumines all things in the divine realm. It is this divine light, warm and power that surrounds us and fills our hearts and minds when we think upon Olodumare and reverently invoke His eternal and power (virtue) filled Name.

Olodumare's name, being, presence and power and one and the same. In the material world the name of a thing and the thing itself are different. The word water or the sound symbol for the word water is not water. The word bread or the sound symbol for the word bread is not bread. But in the world of Ifa, the sacred divine sounds or holy vibrations expressed in the words of the sacred Yoruba language have inner substance and power. The Yoruba Ifa language is the manifesting energy and power of Odu or Olodumare translated into sounds or vibrations that we call words, in this instance Ifa words encoded in the peculiar divine language which we erroneously called a human language spoken by the Yoruba.

Actually Yoruba Ifa words are divine energies and powers translated into the human realm. So getting back to the lofty and holy subject matter. The divine and holy sound or word Olodumare is a true and original world revealed, originated and manifested by Olodumare Himself. Olodumare is fully present in His name. The sound and word Olodumare is a holy, mystic and actual plenary manifestation of the Supreme Being in vibrational form.
